Massimo Corsetti:I define myself as a diver and a sailor since always: my first dive in the sea was in the early ’71 or ’72 in Amalfi, inside the emerald cave during one of the first edition of Underwater Christmas, I was just an innocent child at the time, bringing a bunch of plastic flowers at the underwater manger under the floodlights and the RAI (Italian Radio and Television) video cameras. From then on, obviously following my father one of the first underwater photographer in Italy: Journeys and dives in the Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Australia, one of the with Bruno Vailati in Sharm El Sheikh in 1976 to shoot some scenes for “Cari mostri del mare”, then a Film with Enzo Maiorca and at this point the imprinting was done, even if I was still very young the sea and the diving activity where already part of me; during the years both from a logistical and a competitive reasons I put aside the tanks in favor of apnea, windsurf and sailboat. .

The first 8 years, from 1992 to 2000 I used to dive everyday. Today a bit less, but I still like to dive and is not unusual to see me in one of our diving centre’s boats to dive.
